Budweiser readies Super Bowl campaign
A new advertising campaign for Budweiser will begin during the Canadian broadcast of the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. The campaign, called "For all you do, this Bud's for you," was created by Downtown Partners of Toronto. The campaign will consist of three new commercials, beginning with a 30-second ad called "Costume Party," which depicts a man getting the attention of a woman at a party with his costume. "We wanted to connect with the beer drinkers on a fun and social level," said Dan Pawych, creative director at Downtown Partners. "The creative concept behind the new Budweiser campaign celebrates guys who go the extra mile to make things happen, which fits nicely with the successful historic tagline." Budweiser is brewed and distributed in Canada by Labatt.
