Pepsi-QTG Canada readies Super Bowl ads

Pepsi-QTG Canada of Mississauga will air 90 seconds of Canadian commercials during the broadcast of the Super Bowl this weekend. The ads, created by BBDO Toronto, will be part of the ongoing "Forever Young" campaign for Diet Pepsi, originally launched in 1999. The new ads depict a man who causes social embarrassment by acting younger than he is. "Keeping the creative fresh and relevant is perhaps our biggest challenge," said Ian MacKeller, executive creative director at BBDO Toronto. "We've been able to successfully re-invent the essence of Forever Young several times, allowing us to stay connected to the Diet Pepsi consumer while growing the brand to the number one position."
