Unilever promotes Lipton Tea To Go

Unilever Canada has begun a sampling campaign for a new product called Lipton Tea To Go. Promotional workers will be present in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver from June 7 to July 15, distributing 250,000 bottles of water and Tea To Go samples at various outdoor locations. In-store sampling will also take place at grocery stores and mass retailers nationally. The campaign was developed by Venture Communications. The promotional workers are being managed by Newad. "Lipton's goal is to increase awareness and generate trial of Tea To Go, so we focused on engaging target customers at all the best summer hotspots and providing a full-sized bottle of water as a high-value way to encourage immediate trial," said Dan Wilchesky, vice-president of client marketing at Venture in Toronto. "Ultimately, we wanted to provide a quick and easy way to beat the heat and offer an alternative to expensive concessions."
