David Suzuki Foundation hires Edelman
The David Suzuki Foundation has retained Edelman Canada to provide public relations in Quebec. The account will be handled by the agency's corporate social responsibility and sustainability practice in Montreal. The assignment is to provide insights into Quebecer's perceptions of environmental issues and advise the foundation on ways to engage them. "I have worked with Edelman Canada before and always appreciated their dedication to corporate social responsibility," said Peter Robinson, CEO of the foundation. "In choosing to be carbon neutral, Edelman is leading by example. I know this will prompt other public relations and communication firms to take the steps to become more environmentally sustainable." The David Suzuki Foundation works to protect the diversity of nature through science and education with the goal of achieving sustainablility within a generation.
