CTV begins Live the Drama campaign

CTV has begun a street promotion in Toronto and Vancouver called "Live the Drama" in support of its fall programming schedule. During the initiative, which will run until Sept. 1, residents of the two cities can appear in a recreation of the "bouncing ball" promotional clips used by the network by visiting production tents at various outdoor events and festivals. Participants will receive a copy of their video on DVD. Some videos will also be uploaded to a website at <>. "The campaign really takes CTV's interactive and promotional efforts to a new level," said Rick Lewchuk, senior vice-president of the CTV Creative Agency. "Residents of Toronto and Vancouver can explore their creative side, shoot footage to prove they are CTV's next stars, and at the same time learn about all our great new shows coming this fall."
