Commuter newspaper Metro has formed an agreement with GigPark to incorporate its social recommendation services into its website at <>. Users of the service will be able to find local businesses and services recommended by other Metro readers. Weekly recommendations will also appear in the print versions of Metro in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary and Halifax. "With this partnership, we're continuing to redefine the role of traditional newspapers," said Jodi Brown, marketing and interactive director at Metro Canada. "Metro readers are young, urban, educated, and connected, so integrating GigPark's unique social tool into the Metro experience makes perfect sense."
