Gibson's Finest begins Grey Cup contest

William Grant & Sons has begun a contest in association with TSN in support of its Gibson's Finest Canadian Whisky brand. The contest, called "Gibson's Finest Fan," is being conducted at <>. Visitors can enter by submitting photographs and videos demonstrating why they are the finest fan of their CFL team. A judging panel will select 32 finalists, whose entries will then be posted for public voting. The winner will receive a trip for four to the 2009 Grey Cup game in Calgary on Nov. 29. The winner will also present the Gibson's Finest Most Outstanding Player award at an event on Nov. 28. Seven secondary prizes of trips for two to the game will also be awarded. The contest is being promoted with point-of-sale materials and commercials on TSN. "In launching this competition with TSN to identify Canadian football's most ardent fans, we are paying tribute to the proud who support the league," said Carolyn McFarlane, senior brand manager for Gibson's Finest. "Those of us who have been to the Grey Cup are familiar with the way fans wear their hearts on their sleeves.  This is our way to showcase the creativity that goes into all this visual cheering."
