Magazines Canada readies direct mail campaign

Magazines Canada is preparing a "Buy Two, Get One Free" subscription promotion in association with Consumer Intelligence Group. The direct mail campaign, which will begin in late September, will offer consumers discounts on a variety of Canadian magazines. The initiative will include a dedicated website that will offer samples of the products available. The campaign will run until February 2012. "Each year we try to enhance our campaign to ensure the very best magazines are reaching the very best potential customers," said Magazines Canada executive director of circulation marketing Barbara Bates. "We are thrilled to once again promote our fabulous member titles to a wide national audience. The Consumer Intelligence Group will be providing specialized list and data expertise to fine-tune the campaign's targeting and delivery. With CIG on board as a strategic partner, the campaign is sure to be an enormous success."
