Porter, Joe Fresh begin joint promotion

Porter Aviation Holdings of Toronto has begun a joint promotion with Joe Fresh, a unit of Loblaw Companies, aimed primarily at seasonal travelers. According to the airline, this is Porter's first multi-platform brand agreement. It includes brand exposure at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport as well an in-store contest. The initiative began this week with a weekend trip contest conducted at 50 Joe Fresh stores in Porter destinations in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Two winners will receive two-day shopping travel prize packages, one to Toronto and one to New York City, each including a $500 Joe Fresh gift card. The agreement also includes manicures in holiday colours for Toronto passengers until Dec. 14 and Joe Fresh winter gifts for some Toronto passengers on Dec. 15. "Porter and the Joe Fresh brand both attract customers who are fashionable and always on the go," said Andrew Wilson, vice-president of sales and marketing at Porter Airlines. "This new partnership allows us to offer unique and relevant programs as added value to our respective customers."
