British Columbia Lottery Corporation hires DDB
DDB Canada of Vancouver has been retained by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. The three-year contract includes traditional advertising and digital work for brands including Big Lotto, Scratch and Win, Pacific Hold'em Poker and Keno. DDB won the account in a competitive bid process involving an unknown number of contenders. DDB Canada has worked for BCLC on various lottery brands since 2006. "It's difficult to separate digital from traditional advertising, which is why we are pleased to have been awarded both assignments," said Lance Saunders, executive vice-president and managing director at the agency. "This category is ripe with opportunity for an emotional connection with players. Winning the lottery is all about dreaming and possibilities. What better emotional motivators than these to spark opportunities for share value, which encourage consumers to participate and play with the various BCLC brands?"
