First Choice Haircutters begins contest promotion

First Choice Haircutters has begun a national campaign called "Be the Face of FCH." The campaign, developed by Tag Idea Revolution of Toronto, takes the form of an online contest at <>. Ten winners will receive a three-day trip to New York for a makeover, model training and photo shoot, then appear in the company's 2013 advertising campaign. A judging panel will select 50 finalists, while online voting will determine the winners. The contest will run until May 2012. The contest is supported by a national television, magazine and online advertising, as well as social media activities. "We're very excited to launch this program on the heels of the very successful 'This is My' campaign we launched last year that began to change consumer perceptions of First Choice Haircutters," said agency president Matt Orlando. "Allowing customers the opportunity to become the next faces to represent the brand will build upon our current program and increase consumer engagement."
