Sports specialty channel TSN and the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto have extended their sponsorship agreement by 10 years. Under the terms of the new deal, TSN will remain the official television and radio broadcast sponsor of the Hockey Hall of Fame until 2022. TSN will continue to hold the broadcast rights to events including the Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee Announcement, the Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and the annual Hockey Hall of Fame Legends Classic. In addition, the hall's new theatre will be branded the TSN Theatre. TSN will also be the presenting sponsor for the Hall of Fame NHL Media Awards. "While we like to say at TSN that 'hockey lives here,' there's not a doubt that hockey's home is at the Hockey Hall of Fame," said Stewart Johnston, president of TSN. "We are looking forward to having millions of hockey fans visit the new TSN Theatre and to working with the Hall of Fame on many new initiatives over the next 10 years." TSN has been a sponsor of the hall since its founding in 1993. TSN is a division of Bell Media.
