Durex begins end-of-the-world promotion
Reckitt Benckiser will break a social media campaign today for its Durex brand of condoms, tied to the purported end of the world on Dec. 21. The initiative takes the form of a "Durex Sexy Survival Guide" distributed via the brand's Facebook page. "The Mayan Apocalypse is almost upon us, so we've created a Durex inspired survival guide to help both you and your sex life survive the end of the world," said Indresh Kohli, marketing director at Durex. "From preparing for meteorites and earthquakes to giving you the edge versus zombies and even aliens, these handy positions will help you make the transformation from a Savvy Lover, to a Savvy Survivor."
