Shaw Media has signed agreements with three firms to provide content to its ShawConnect.ca website. Sportsnet.ca will provide the site's sports channel. Auto123.com will provide its automobile channel. Listings of live events will be provided by 49st.com. Other content on the site is drawn from Shaw Media properties including ET Canada, Global News, Food Network Canada and Slice. According to the company, the site attracts approximately 750,000 unique visitors per month. "ShawConnect.ca has proven to be one of our fastest growing sites across our network," said Paul Burns, vice- president of digital media at Shaw. "The addition of Sportsnet.ca, Auto123.com and 49st.com significantly boosts the site's already impressive premium content. From local and international news to entertainment and lifestyle categories, no other Canadian site can match its depth, diversity and quality."
