Hyundai signs signage deal with ScreenScape Networks

Hyundai Auto Canada of Markham, ON has signed an agreement with ScreenScape Networks of Charlottetown, PE to operate an inventory of digital signage in its dealerships. Approximately 30 Hyundai dealers nationally have installed the screens in their showrooms and service waiting rooms. Another 70 dealers will add the screens in the next six months, with more following in 2014. There are 192 Hyundai dealerships in Canada. "We find video to be a very effective way to share the experience of driving and owning a Hyundai," said Michael Handy, director of marketing at Hyundai Canada. "ScreenScape gives us the ability to deliver video directly to customers inside our dealerships. This helps us coordinate our marketing efforts with local dealers and add value to the experience of buying and owning a new Hyundai. ScreenScape allows us to leverage our existing investments in online video and social media and use them in a very local context."
