The Out-of-Home Marketing Association has added a number of new features to its website at <http://www.omaccanada.ca> intended to simplify the planning of out-of-home media campaigns. The organization has produced a series of product guides that summarize the products offered by member companies in 21 markets, allowing a planner to determine which products are available in which places. The association has also produced special market profiles for Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. These profiles contain information on geography, commuting patterns, modes of transportation and traveler volume. The site now also includes an updated interactive mapping tool that allows users to view the coverage offered by multiple companies in a single market. "Media planners are time starved and these new tools have been designed to provide them with market intelligence at their fingertips," said association president Rosanne Caron. OMAC members include Astral Out-of-Home, CBS Outdoor, Lamar Transit, Cogeco Métromédia, Newad, Pattison Outdoor, Titan and Zoom Media.
