Yellow Pages Group expands deal with CBC

Montreal-based Yellow Pages Group has expanded its agreement with CBC/Radio-Canada to provide local business listings and related information to regional websites. The new agreement includes the use of a localized widget called "Find Out What's Nearby" that will now appear on each of the CBC's city pages. With it, users can access commonly-searched categories of nearby services such as restaurants and car repairs. "We have the most current and complete databases on Canadian businesses in the country," said Nicolas Gaudreau, chief marketing officer at Yellow Pages Group. "Through strategic partners such as CBC, we're able to ensure Canadians can access the best local content on their neighbourhood goods and services as well as help drive added visibility to our small business clients who use our network to reach potential customers across a variety of platforms." Yellow Pages Group has been providing information to since 2010.
