WelcomePack Canada launches Welcome to Canada program

WelcomePack Canada of Markham, ON has launched a program called "Welcome to Canada" aimed at new immigrants to the country. The program will offer gift packages to 30,000 residents of the Greater Toronto Area containing product samples or coupons from 30 brands, as well as a WelcomePack magazine. Recipients of the package will also continue to receive offers from the company on an ongoing basis. Landed immigrants over the age of 18 who arrived in Canada after August 2011 can register to receive the packages. They will be distributed through the YMCA of Greater Toronto, India Rainbow Community Services of Peel, SEAS Centres, and the Toronto District School Board.

"WelcomePack is an innovative ambassador, introducing Canada's leading brands to new immigrants," said Albert Yue, president and CEO of WelcomePack Canada. "We are pleased to have more than 30 brands participating."

Participating brands including the Achieve International Language Centre, Air Wick, Axe, Becel, Billy Bee, Brooke Bond Red Label Tea, Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea, Bru Coffee, CIBC, Club House, Dettol, Dove, FedEx, Finish, Frank's Red Hot, Heinz, Hyundai, Knorr, Lady's Choice, Lipton Tea, Lysol, Mandarin Restaurants, McCormick, Pillers, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Rogers, Snuggle, SunLight, T&T Supermarket, Tridel and Veet.
