Aeroplan breaks new television campaign
Loyalty program Aeroplan began what it describes as the largest marketing effort in the program's history yesterday. The awareness campaign, developed by Cossette, includes the first television advertising for the brand in over 10 years. The creative focuses on recent changes to the Aeroplan program, such as its new Distinction initiative for high-accumulating members and its new Market Fare Flight Rewards program.
The 30-second commercial, in English and French, will air on conventional and specialty television stations in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary for five weeks. This will be supported by bumpers promoting specific elements of the program that will be displayed during programming. A 45-second version of the commercial will run in cinemas in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
