Cossette gains McDonald's account in US

A group of McDonald's restaurants in Illinois and Indiana has retained Cossette of Toronto has its lead advertising agency. The McDonald's Owner/Operators of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Co-op selected the agency in a multi-national review involving an unknown number of contenders. The organization consists of approximately 500 restaurants. Cossette will service the account from its Chicago office, headed by Alyssa Huggins. The assignment encompasses general consumer marketing and advertising. Cossette is the lead creative agency for McDonald's in Canada. This is the agency's first assignment for McDonald's in the United States.

"We're extremely excited about working with McDonald's owner/operators in the company's home town market," said Cossette president and CEO Brett Marchand. "We started our partnership with one Canadian owner/operator 37 years ago in Quebec City, and this opportunity is another proud moment in our continued evolution with McDonald's."
