Rogers begins tennis campaign in Montreal

Rogers Communications has begun a marketing campaign in Montreal to promote the upcoming Rogers Cup tennis tournament. The campaign, developed by Newad, includes a tennis-themes mural, a new website at <>, a guide to tennis in Montreal and various initiatives that will take place at the event venue from Aug. 1 to 10. The mural will be located on one wall of a building on Saint Laurent Blvd. near Sherbrooke St. The website will offer a collection of information on the Rogers Cup, Montreal and tennis in general. Additional promotional elements will include contests, social media activities and in-store materials.

"Newad was selected after winning a call for bids based on the originality and quality of its 360-degree offer, its expertise in the field and the precision of its deployment," said Kim Donachey, director of eastern Canada experiential marketing at Newad.
