AcuityAds hires two

Toronto-based digital advertising company AcuityAds has appointed Raymond Reid to the newly-created position of president of its AdScience division. Reid was most recently managing director of Neo@Ogilvy. He was also managing partner and co-founder of Prior to that, he was vice-president and digital group director at Starcom MediaVest. Reid has also worked at Alliance Atlantis, Points International, ComScore Media Metrix, LGS Group and Harlequin Enterprises.

Ashley Bast has joined the company as vice-president of marketing. He will develop branding for Acuity and AdScience. Bast has been a consultant to the company since last fall. He was previously senior director of pantry breads and private label brands at Canada Bread. He has also worked at Campbell Soup and Procter & Gamble.
