Walmart sends more online work to Mediative

Walmart Canada has hired Mediative of Montreal to be its exclusive provider of marketing services for brands on Walmart.ca. Mediative will provide ad banners on category pages where a brand's products are sold. The company will also develop lifestyle-focused landing pages, search-based ads and other forms of custom online branding. The Walmart.ca website receives approximately 50 million page views per month. Mediative is a division of Yellow Pages Group.

"Approximately 80% of shoppers do some research online before actually setting foot in a store," said Darby Sieben, president of Mediative. "It's crucial for brands to be in front of potential buyers at all steps in the purchase decision process. We're pleased to extend our existing media relationship with Walmart Canada in providing unique solutions for some of the world's largest brand advertisers."
