Ovarian Cancer Canada hires Grey

Ovarian Cancer Canada has retained Grey Canada of Toronto as its communications agency of record. The assignment includes planning, branding and advertising support for the Toronto-based charitable organization. Grey won the account in a two-month review process involving an unknown number of firms.

"There is no screening test for ovarian cancer and women are most often diagnosed in late stages," said Karen Cinq Mars, vice-president of marketing at Ovarian Cancer Canada. "Working with Grey, we want to raise awareness and shed light on the realities of the most fatal women’s cancer and drive women to information and resources that may save a life. We were impressed by Grey's experience in developing ideas to affect change, to create meaningful outcomes and to alter the discourse around issues that affect our lives."
