Beijing tourism commission begins international campaign
The Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development has begun an international contest promotion called "Feeling Beijing" in collaboration with Chinese broadcaster CRI Online. The online initiative is being conducted in six languages, including Chinese, English, German, French, Japanese and Korean. Until Oct. 20, consumers can enter by taking a quiz in any of these languages at <http://www.cri.cn>. The quiz will cover topics relating to Beijing's history and culture, as well as its 72-hour visa-free transit policy. The contest is intended to encourage international travelers to learn more about Beijing as a destination. Participants who submit correct answers will be entered into a draw for a trip to the city. One winner will be selected from each language group.
