Corner Gas readies movie promotion in Toronto

Corner Gas: The Movie will conduct a series of promotional events in Toronto this weekend in support of the upcoming release of the film. The events will feature members of the cast, and will begin on Nov. 15 with a private performance of Saskatchewan music called "The Saskie Showcase." This event will be presented by Creative Saskatchewan, Sask Music and the film. On Nov. 16, cast members Brent Butt, Gabrielle Miller, Fred Ewanuick, Lorne Cardinal and Nancy Robertson will operate a float in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, followed by an appearance at the Canadian International Television Festival to host a preview of the film.

Corner Gas: The Movie will debut on Dec. 3 in theatres, followed by television broadcasts later in December. The film is a production of Corner Gas The Movie, in association with Bell Media, Telefilm Canada, Cineplex Entertainment, Tourism Saskatchewan, Creative Saskatchewan, the Canada Media Fund, the Bell Fund, Cogeco and Prairie Pants Distribution.
