Twitter introduces Flight School program

Social media company Twitter has begun a roll-out of a program called "Twitter Flight School" in Canada. It takes the form of an online resource intended to help agencies conduct real-time marketing campaigns on Twitter. The roll-out began with a pilot project involving Starcom MediaVest Group. Access to the program will be made available to other agencies in the first quarter of 2015.

"SMG is excited to be the first agency in Canada to complete the Twitter Flight School journey," said Jeff Thibodeau, senior digital vice-president at Starcom MediaVest. "SMG has worked with Twitter on many successful campaigns for clients such as TD Bank, Samsung, Kraft and many others, and now that we have finished our Flight Paths, our team is armed with the knowledge and skills to help develop and execute more competitive and creative campaigns for our clients."
