W Network launches new online properties

Specialty television channel W Network has launched two new online properties called W Dish and W View. The first, located at <http://www.wdish.com>, focuses on short pieces of content on lifestyle and pop culture topics. The mobile-centric site is aimed primarily at women between the ages of 25 to 44. The second, located at <http://www.wview.com>, specializes in digital video content also aimed at women.

"With the launch of these new digital sites, we are giving our audiences more ways to experience W Network's popular brand by offering a rich, curated selection of bite-sized, up-to-the-moment digital content that appeals to women online," said Sue Mackay, digital women and family vice-president at Corus Entertainment. "These sites extend our digital reach with the highly coveted women's demo and allow us to engage with our audiences in different ways and on a variety of platforms."

W Network is promoting the launch of these sites with a contest, the winner of which will receive a trip for two to Memories Grand Bahama Beach from Sunwing. W Network is owned by Corus Entertainment of Toronto.
