Rogers renews Tennis Canada sponsorship
Rogers has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Tennis Canada for another five years. During that time, the company will remain the title sponsor of the Rogers Cup tournaments in Toronto and Montreal. Rogers and Tennis Canada will also collaborate on a series of initiatives intended to promote the sport in Canada.
In addition, Sportsnet will retain the broadcast rights to those events, including expanded coverage in English and French beginning in 2016. The deal includes television, online and mobile rights. Rogers has also signed a separate agreement with TVA Sports for the French-language rights to the Rogers Cup.
"Sports continues to be a key pillar in our strategy of delivering world-class content and experiences to Canadians," said Livia Zufferli, senior brand vice-president at Rogers. "We look forward to our continued partnership with Tennis Canada to help grow the game."
