Dairy Queen prepares Jurassic World promotion
Dairy Queen Canada is readying a marketing campaign in association with Universal Pictures, tied to the upcoming release of the movie Jurassic World. This will be the chain's first motion picture collaboration in 20 years. It will begin on June 1. During the promotion, Dairy Queen will offer a series of Jurassic World-themed Blizzard menu item. The campaign will also make use of television and digital advertising, along with social media activities and public relations.
"Fans can visit participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants to experience some of the unique and creative ways we are bringing Jurassic World to life across Canada," said Candida Ness, senior director of marketing at Dairy Queen Canada. "We have six specially-designed Blizzard cups inspired by movie moments, in-store signage and point-of-sale materials worthy of selfies, and our film-inspired Jurassic Smash Blizzard treat."
