Advanceit rebrands as Thinking Capital

Toronto-based financial company Advanceit has  rebranded itself as Thinking Capital. The rebranding also includes a new visual identity, tagline and website at <>. The new branding is intended to portray the company as the "leading source of alternative funding for Canadian small and medium-sized businesses."

"Business owners are missing great opportunities to maximize their revenue because it can be both difficult and time consuming to access credit," said company president Peter Mazoff. "We provide simple and quick small business financing, allowing them to grow. Our mission is to redefine how small businesses access capital in Canada."

In related news, Thinking Capital has appointed Roshni Wijayasinha to the position of vice-president of marketing. She was most recently senior director of marketing at Juice Mobile. Prior to that, she was senior product marketing manager at Kobo. Wijayasinha has also worked at Sony Mobile, Microsoft Canada, CanWest MediaWorks, Cossette and Scotiabank.
