Tourism Partnership of Niagara hires MacLaren McCann

The Tourism Partnership of Niagara has retained MacLaren McCann of Toronto as its marketing agency of record. The not-for-profit regional tourism organization works to promote the Niagara area through the Niagara Canada brand. The assignment includes brand strategy, advertising development, media planning and media buying, as well as the redesign of the group's website. MacLaren McCann won the account in a request-for-proposals process that began in April. It was formerly held by Niagara-based Loud & Clear.

"It was evident from the start that MacLaren McCann wanted our business," said Jody Larose, executive director of the Tourism Partnership of Niagara. "At every stage of the evaluation process they demonstrated above and beyond why they are one of the industry's best. They have great people and relevant expertise in the travel and tourism category. We are excited to partner with them and are confident they share our vision to make Niagara the number one tourism destination in North America."
