Camp Pacific opens in Vancouver

Vision7 International has launched a new agency called Camp Pacific in Vancouver. The firm will take the place and client list of Dare Vancouver. These clients include Manitoba Telecom Services, Destination British Columbia, National Money Mart, SAP, the BC Children's Hospital Foundation, the BC Lottery Corporation, GoAuto and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Following the sale of Vision7 to BlueFocus International last year, Dare was spun off as a stand-alone company that continues to operate in the United Kingdom. Dare in the UK remains majority-owned by Mill Road Capital.

"Camp Pacific is a new agency that is an evolution of Dare, whose culture and heritage could be best described as highly creative, nimble and strongly oriented towards digital solutions," said Derek Shorkey, senior vice-president and managing partner of the agency. "Consumers are engaging with brands in different ways. Camp Pacific is about guiding clients through the ever-changing and uncharted territory that brands encounter in the modern world."
