Telus hires Aimia to manage loyalty program
Telecommunications company Telus has retained Aimia of Montreal to manage its loyalty program Telus Rewards. The company will base the program on Aimia's "Smart Button" system, which provides a web-based interface for the marketing staff of Telus. Telus customers participating in the program will be able to collect loyalty points and redeem them for discounts on smartphones, tablets, roaming travel passes, prepaid phone cards, accessories and other Telus products.
"As part of our commitment to put customers first in everything we do, we wanted to offer a loyalty program that provided added value to our customers," said Simone Lumsden, vice-president of customer relationship marketing and engagement at Telus. "Aimia provided us with the expertise and marketing technology to fulfill this commitment."
