JFL42 signs sponsors

Toronto comedy festival JFL42 has recently signed a series of sponsorship agreements in support of its fourth annual event. Air Canada will return as the presenting sponsor of the festival for a second year. The airline will also sponsor the festival's Headliner series of shows at the Sony Centre. As part of this sponsorship, Air Canada will conduct a contest promotion in which two randomly-selected audience members at each show will be moved to front row seats.

SiriusXM will also return as the collaborating sponsor of the festival and its official broadcaster. The satellite radio company will also be the presenting sponsor of all shows at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and the Royal Theatre, as well as the JFL42 New Faces Series, all shows by Canadian performers and the winner of the festival's Homegrown contest. SiriusXM will also broadcast live from the Pantages Hotel each day during the event, including a live broadcast of the final of the SiriusXM Top Comic competition.

Beer maker Beau's All Natural Brewing Co. has signed-on as a sponsor of the next three  festivals, becoming the official beer of JFL42. The company's products will be sold at festival venues and will be the exclusive beer at the Royal Theatre.

JFL42, a production of Montreal-based Just For Laughs, will take place from Sept. 24 to Oct. 3.
