Nintendo conducts Super Mario Maker campaign in Quebec

Nintendo Canada has begun a promotion for its recently-released video game Super Mario Maker in association with Bell Media. The campaign is running in Quebec on television channels Canal D, Z, Vrak and Télétoon, as well as online at Canalvie.com. It includes 30-second television commercials featuring television personalities François-Étienne Paré, Vanessa Pilon and Jean-François Baril recalling childhood experiences with Mario games. Additional 60-second videos depicts the hosts playing the game against each other. The online component includes a four-week contest, the winner of which will receive a Nintendo Wii U video game console, an LG television set and a copy of the game.

"Countless Quebecers grew up playing Super Mario Bros., and this campaign for Super Mario Maker will evoke great memories for the entire family," said Randy Mauskopf, director of media creativity at Bell Media Sales. "Bell Media's diverse properties enable Nintendo Canada to reach a broad audience, while our creative output effectively highlights the many elements fans can enjoy in this game."
