Hankook Tire signs hockey sponsorships
Hankook Tire Canada of Brampton, ON has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Montreal Canadiens hockey team for the 2015-2016 season and renewed its agreement with the Toronto Maple Leafs through the 2016-2017 season. The company has also signed an agreement with Hockey Canada through the 2018-2019 season.
The Canadiens agreement includes branded rink board advertisements during regular season games and a banner on the team's website. The Maple Leafs deal also includes branded rink boards, Hankook branding on the viewing board in Maple Leaf Square, digital signage in the arena in-game contests and other promotional activities..
The Hockey Canada deal makes Hankook a sponsor of the organization's National Championship events, including the Telus Cup National Midget Championship and RBC National Junior A Championship. The brand will also sponsor Canada's National Women's and Men's teams. This exposure will include rink boards, event magazine ads and online materials at the Hockey Canada website.
