Airbnb conducts Air Canada Centre contest

San Francisco-based online hospitality booking company Airbnb has begun a contest promotion in association with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. Consumers can enter online at <> by describing what makes them the biggest fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. Entries will close on Dec. 15.

The winner of the contest will receive tickets for two to a Maple Leafs game in January, spend the night in a suite at Air Canada Centre, then attend a Raptors game the next day. The trip will be hosted by hockey player Doug Gilmour and will include a tour of the venue, access to the penalty box during the pre-game skate, a collection of merchandise from Real Sports Apparel and attendance at the post-game press conference.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors have some of the most loyal and passionate fans in the NHL and NBA," said Aaron Zifkin, country manager for Canada at Airbnb. "Airbnb is pleased to offer the first ever overnight experience at Air Canada Centre in a customized suite while also providing an unprecedented behind-the-scenes experience."
