Molson builds hockey rink at top of Toronto building
As part of its ongoing "Anything for Hockey" campaign, Molson Coors Canada is constructing a hockey rink on top of a 32-storey building in downtown Toronto. The rink will be used by the winners of a contest that closed on Dec. 10. The contest invited consumers to submit stories, photographs and videos demonstrating their irrarional obsession with the sport.
"Molson Canadian is passionate about hockey and sharing the love for the game with our fans," said Chris Blackburn, director of marketing at Molson Canadian. "Through our '#anythingforhockey' campaign, we are offering unforgettable experiences that will quite literally elevate the game to new heights and we look forward to sharing our winners' experience with the world in February. Although we built the rooftop rink exclusively for our contest winners, we know there are many more fans out there who would love to skate on it. We have certainly been listening to every comment and hope to share some exciting news soon."
