Burt's Bees readies Shades promotion
Burt's Bees Canada is readying a promotion in support of its new collection of lipsticks. The promotion, called "Shades," consists of a display of original artwork created using pigments from the lipstick line. Works by 10 Canadian artists will be on display at the Arta Gallery in Toronto from Feb. 27 to March 11. Proceeds from the sale of this art will be donated to Wildlife Preservation Canada.
"Shades is a perfect intersection of art, beauty and nature," said Carolyn Hungate of Burt's Bees Canada. "It's an opportunity for Canadians to experience and purchase unique creations by some of the country's brightest artistic talent while at the same time showing their support for a worthy cause. We've tried to strike a balance between our commitment to conservation efforts and sustainability and our natural sense of playfulness."
Burt's Bees is a subsidiary of Clorox.
