Moores readies National Promposal Day promotion

Toronto-based apparel retailer Moores Clothing For Men will conduct a promotion in March called "National Promposal Day." Aimed at high school students, the national initiative encourages consumers to share their experiences of inviting someone to the prom on March 11. The promotion is being conducted in collaboration with Snapchat and online personality Brent Rivera, who will post a video of his own prom invitation on that day. The effort involves a customized Snapchat filter that is intended to reach approximately 5,000 high schools in Canada.

"Going to prom is the highlight of our year, and pulling off an epic promposal is part of the fun," said Rivera.
