Food Network conducts one-day Facebook promotion

Shaw Media of Toronto conducted a social media promotion for its Food Network Canada property on Feb. 25. The one-day initiative took the form of a collection of custom content posted to the "Food on Facebook" online forum, located at <>. The content consisted to food fact videos, recipe videos, clips from various Food Network show and the premiere of a new online series called Neighbourhood Eats.

"With the biggest names and the best recipes, Food Network Canada is the ultimate destination for all things food," said Christine Shipton, chief creative officer at Shaw Media. "This takeover gives us a global platform to engage a broad audience with our dynamic range of quality, short-form Canadian content."
