Toronto Silent Film Festival conducts Instagram campaign

The Toronto Silent Film Festival recently an online campaign promoting its annual event which took place earlier this month. Developed by Red Lion of Toronto, the effort took the form of an interactive experience conducted through Instagram, during which consumers needed to find clues and hidden objects in order to solve puzzles and escape a locked room. The creative focused on early films previously through to have been destroyed or lost. The promotion is located at <>. This is the fourth year the festival has made use of Instagram to promote its event.

"We have been partners with The Toronto Silent Film Festival for some time now and every year I’m impressed with their desire to push the envelope creatively," said Matt Litzinger, president and chief creative officer at Red Lion. "The Toronto Silent Film Festival continues to grow and with each year the challenge to innovate on Instagram to reflect the innovation of silent films in their day is a dream creative challenge. And trying to escape is pretty fun."
