Tourisme Montreal hires Cossette as digital agency

Tourisme Montréal has retained Cossette as its digital agency. The assignment includes a redesign of the organization's website at <http://www.tourisme-montreal.org> and its mobile application, as well as social media initiatives and the development of back-end technology for various tourist industry clients. The new system is intended to be useful accompaniment to leisure and business tourists throughout their travel experience, including personalized content and suggestions suited to their interests. Cossette won the account in a tendering process involving an unknown number of contenders.

"This project is one of Tourisme Montréal's most ambitious endeavours, which, as part of its hospitality strategy, aims to maximize the economic spin-offs for its members and the entire tourism industry in Montreal," said Danièle Perron, vice-president of marketing at the organization. "The new digital ecosystem will also reaffirm Tourisme Montréal's leadership in the field of digital technology in North America."
