Deck Agency gains two accounts

Toronto-based Deck Agency has recently gained two new accounts. Martell Cognac has retained the agency to handle its public relations, creative and event management requirements in Canada. The brand will conduct a relaunch into the Canadian market in the fall. Martell Cognac is owned by Pernod Ricard and is distributed in Canada by Corby Spirit and Wine.

"Martell is a world-renowned brand with a vibrant heritage, and we're thrilled to be bringing this exquisite product back to Canada," said Erika Neudorf, brand manager at Corby. "Deck came to us with unique partnership ideas and event themes that were perfectly suited to our brand vision."

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has hired Deck to provide creative, digital, and web development services in Canada, the US and the Caribbean. The agency will also develop an interactive menu planning and event-booking service for the hotel chain, focusing on its event planning and catering services.

"We looked for an agency that understood our goals, and Deck simply got us from the beginning," said Mansi Vagt, director of digital marketing for the Americas at Fairmont. "Their strategic approach to design allowed us to envision a digital product that was intuitive, useful and beautiful."
