Lego Canada readies Fan Expo promotion
Toy company Lego Canada will conduct a promotion at the Fan Expo Canada consumer show in Toronto this weekend. The brand's installation will invite attendees to participate in the construction of a 10-foot-tall version of a new model depicting a droid from the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The four-day construction process will be supervised by one of the company's eight "Lego Master Builders," who will also conduct a workshop about building with Lego. The installation will also include prize giveaways, displays of several life-sized Lego models and previews of new construction kits.
"We're thrilled to bring all the excitement of Lego building to Fan Expo Canada this year, especially as we unveil an all new, one-of-a-kind life-sized Lego model of [Star Wars] droid K-2S0," said Amanda Santoro, senior brand relations manager for Lego. "Fans love seeing their favorite characters from popular Lego franchises all in one place and brought to life in amazing ways. Whether it's the stunning life-sized models or the opportunity to learn from an incredible Lego Master Builder, there's something for everyone."
