Richmond signs new contract with Pattison

The City of Richmond in British Columbia has signed a new contract with Pattison Outdoor Advertising to manage media sales for its inventory of transit shelter and bus bench advertising displays. The long-term agreement encompasses 400 ad faces on 200 shelters and 300 bench faces.

"The city's new contract with Pattison Outdoor ensures provision of convenient, comfortable and attractive street furniture for Richmond's transit users and pedestrians," said Victor Wei, director of transportation for Richmond. "It helps realize the city's objective of making transit a viable alternative for travel by quadrupling the number of bus shelters, as well as significantly increasing the number of benches to result in long-term community and public benefits."
