Taco Bell begins SteakCation contest
Fast food chain Taco Bell has begun a contest promotion called "SteakCation" supporting the launch of a new menu item called the Steak Doubledilla. The contest is being conducted in association with AirBnB. Consumers can enter online at <http://www.airbnb.com/night-at/taco-bell-canada> until Oct. 11. The winner and a group of friend will receive an overnight stay in a specially-outfitted Taco Bell location in Chatham, ON. The restaurant will be outfitted with bunk beds, chairs and a large-screen television. The winners will spend their time eating Steak Doubledillas, playing games and watching movies, served by a butler.
"Staycations are a growing trend because they make the familiar exciting again," said Veronica Castillo, head of marketing at Taco Bell Canada. "Just like a staycation, the Steak Doubledilla invites customers to rediscover the classic flavour of the quesadilla, with double the steak for something new and unexpected. We are excited to create the ultimate SteakCation where Taco Bell fans can live más while enjoying our latest menu item."
