
Travel Alberta hires DentsuBos for Asian marketing
Tourism organization Travel Alberta has retained DentsuBos to handle its marketing activities in a number of Asian markets. The assignment includes marketing initiatives in China, Japan and South Korea intended to attract visitors from those countries to the province. DentsuBos will service the account in collaboration with associated agencies ICUC and Cardinal Path.
"Asia is a priority market for us and it was important to have the right partner relationship to capitalize on a growing opportunity to attract Asian travelers to Alberta," said Phil Klassen, vice-president of global consumer marketing at Travel Alberta. "By adding in-market Asian resources and expertise of DentsuBos to our partner mix, while maintaining operations in Canada, we are well positioned to increase travel visitation from target Asian markets."
