Babbel hires Casacom

Mobile application company Babbel has recently retained Casacom of Toronto to conduct a series of Canadian communications initiatives. Babbel produces a mobile application for language learning. The assignment includes public relations, media relations, influencer programs and consumer activities intended to encourage Canadian consumers to try the software and to be excited about learning a new language.

"As a bilingual firm, we understand the importance of languages and how they can benefit you, both personally and professionally," said Suzanne Rappaport, vice-president of strategy at Casacom Toronto. "We are excited to be partnering with a unique brand like Babbel, which will enable Canadians to learn a new language, but equally as important, stay motivated to achieve their goals and see it through with a program that is fun, easy to use and effective."

Casacom will also collaborate with UK-based Wieden&Kennedy on an international campaign encompassing 10 countries, including Canada. The campaign will consist of two television commercials.
